ZombieErnie tagged me to do this and I thought it's super interesting! I may even tag some of you for this cause these are questions I usually ask myself when looking at people's work here on dA.

Rules:
1) please re-post the rules and questions!
2) answer at least 5 of the questions!
3) tag as many people as you know, there is no limit! (just tag someone QwQ)

Questions for the artist:
1) why do you draw/paint?
2) what do you draw/paint, and why?
3) how long have you been creating art, and what sparked your passion?
4) what forms of art block do you usually get?
5) what causes your art block? how do you try to break the block?
6) what/how do you wish you could draw/paint, other than what you draw/paint now?
7) who are the artists that inspire you, and why?
8) do you like drawing for others, or just yourself? or both?
9) do you like the artistic style that you have created? why or why not?
10) small challenge! post a "then and now" picture! an artwork that you created in the beginning of your artistic journey compared to how you draw now!

1) why do you draw/paint?
mostly because it’s fun!
then again, I want to bring my ideas to ‚life‘ … make people able to look at what’s going on in my head and to illustrate my ideas.

2) what do you draw/paint, and why?
almost every piece in my gallery is fanart. movies, comic and games usually inspire me to draw and I’m trying to show my love for said medium by drawing fanart.

3) how long have you been creating art, and what sparked your passion?
drawing has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. sure, the things I drew when I was about 3 or 4 years old couldn’t really be called art but that’s when I must’ve started to draw almost daily.
my ‚professional‘ art journey started some time in middle school when I met ArachniDank !! I began to figure out that I wanted drawing to not only be my hobby but my job.

4) what forms of art block do you usually get?
there’s times where I just don’t feel like drawing, so I don’t.
then there’s days where I’m full of ideas but can’t bring a single one to paper. that’s the more frustrating form of an art block, I guess.

5) what causes your art block? how do you try to break the block?
stress, mostly. if there’s a lot of stuff going on in my head I can’t focus on doing art. I get distracted, lose interest etc.
I figured out the best way of breaking an art block is either not drawing for a few days or looking at other artists work. for me most inspiration comes from art styles that are sketchy, messy and very colorful. it’s like the art keeps saying „yo, you don’t need those clean lines you’re struggling to draw! you can do whatever you want and still call it art!“
trying out new things usually helps making the art block go away!

6) what/how do you wish you could draw/paint, other than what you draw/paint now?
I wish I’d be able to GO CRAZY on characters and have a better understanding for colors and backgrounds. to break out of my style more often. to do all the cartoony freak-show stuff I like to see in other people’s style!
also, I kinda lack at traditional art skills … I need to focus on that more!!

7) who are the artists that inspire you, and why?
• Anissa Espinosa’s traditional art gives me life! redribbonrobot.tumblr.com/
• Jemma Salume is doing magic on colors and shapes! oxboxer.tumblr.com/
• my friend Bee - have you seen her art?? those lines are the smoothest I’ve every layed my eyes on! geniusbee.tumblr.com/
• Nick Bear … I recently discovered him and fell in love with the BGs he’s painting! bearmanbeast.tumblr.com/
• misterhope does simple and funny traditional art you must check out www.instagram.com/misterhope/

8) do you like drawing for others, or just yourself? or both?
drawing for others usually has me telling myself that actual people like my art so much, they want a piece of it.
I mean, how cool is that?!
on the other hand … you really don’t want to fuck up when you’re doing art for friends/customers. it can get pretty stressful at times.

9) do you like the artistic style that you have created? why or why not?
I do like where my style is going. it’s developed A LOT within the last few years and I’m proud of where I am now.
but that doesn’t mean I’m done! there’s so much more I have to learn/I want to learn!

10) small challenge! post a "then and now" picture! an artwork that you created in the beginning of your artistic journey compared to how you draw now!
this should be very interesting! here's some art from 2008, 2011 and 2015 ...

PFEW, Finally finished up my answers :D thank you so much for tagging me and it was so interesting reading your answers!
especially on the artblocks and on why you started drawing, it's questions that most of us wonder about other artist (especially those we look up to) but never end up asking hahaha
